A Guide to an Sustainable Everything Shower with Parrotfish Products

I have a fairly extensive routine (using all Parrotfish products) and still keep my everything showers around 10-15 minutes max.

Use a Shower Steamer Before Your Shower

Before my everything shower even starts, I put a shower steamer on my shower floor in a place that avoids the direct flow of the stream. Because I'm usually a nighttime shower-taker, the Chamomile Blossom Shower Steamer is my favorite – it's the perfect combination of scents to unwind. However, if you have sinuses and need something to alleviate congestion, our Eucalyptus Tea Tree Shower Steamer is perfect. 

The Perfect Parrotfish Shampoo Bar and Conditioner Bar Combo 

I start with my Argan Shampoo Bar, and after shampooing, I rub the conditioner bar on my hair and use a wide-tooth comb to distribute the product. I love to comb my hair (whether it be solid or liquid conditioner) while I'm in the shower to detangle my strands. 

Exfoliate with Parrotfish's Coffee Clementine Exfoliant

Before using one of Parrotfish's soaps to clean my body, I will always lightly exfoliate using our Coffee Clementine Exfoliant. I'm prone to acne and inflammation under my armpits (where my sports bra sits) and on my bottom. Exfoliating these areas help remove dead skin cells and dirt that could contribute to clogged follicles from sweat after a workout. My Coffee Clementine Exfoliant is one of the bars I can't be without.

Nourish Your Skin with Parrotfish's Moisturizing Soap Bars

Next, I will wash my body with my Rosemary Apple Cider Soap Bar (it's my husband's favorite, so it's always in our shower!). Our soaps are extra moisturizing with ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil and shea butter – so using one of these bars after exfoliating will help nourish your skin.  

Combat Oils and Aging with Parrotfish's Lavender Teak Soap Bar

Lastly, I wash my face with our Lavender Teak Soap Bar. It contains activated charcoal, which helps combat oils. It also has calendula petals to provide a gentle exfoliant, and the essential oil combination has antibacterial properties to help reduce redness, wrinkles and other signs of aging, making this a perfect bar for your face. 

After I'm done with my shampoo, conditioner, exfoliant, body soap, and face wash – my shower steamer is just about finished, acting as an hourglass to let you know your everything shower has come to an end.

The future of soaps!

I bought the shampoo and conditioner bars for an upcoming trip and with all the restrictions on liquids, thought this would be the perfect solution! Not only was the smell amazing,but it left my hair feeling so soft! Great for double coated dogs

I have a St. Bernard and bath time is ALWAYS a chore. I was a little worried because most shampoo bars out there don’t lather well or really clean without using half the bar, then they leave the hair all dry. I was pleasantly surprised on multiple fronts. It lathered so well right off the bat. I ran the bar over my dogs wet coat and it started to lather no problem. It got to her undercoat without having to really scrub, and even rinsed clean from her undercoat easy. She smells so good and got all that thick muck from the trail off her without over drying. Will be ordering more and looking for more scents in the future!
